Powered by advanced C++ engine, Anima Recovery scans damaged drives, memory cards, and storage devices to recover deleted files with support for 60+ file types including photos, videos, documents, RAW images, and more.
C++ powered engine delivers 100-200 MB/s scan speeds for rapid recovery operations. Optimized assembly code for maximum throughput.
Advanced signature detection for images, videos, documents, RAW photos, archives, audio files, databases, and forensic artifacts.
Forensic file carving technology scans every sector using hexadecimal pattern matching to locate recoverable data fragments.
Recover files from formatted, corrupted, or physically damaged storage devices. Bypasses filesystem corruption.
Military-grade recovery capabilities used by cybersecurity professionals and digital forensics investigators.
Native binaries for macOS (ARM64), Windows (x64), and Linux. No virtual machines or compatibility layers.
Anima Recovery requires administrator/sudo privileges to access raw disk data for forensic recovery operations. This is necessary for deep sector analysis and recovering deleted files.
If you see "Anima Recovery.app is damaged and can't be opened", this is normal for unsigned apps.
Solution (Choose one):
sudo xattr -cr "/Applications/Anima Recovery.app"Why does this happen? macOS Gatekeeper blocks apps that aren't code-signed with an Apple Developer certificate. This is a security feature, not an actual problem with the app.
You will see "Windows protected your PC" because the app is not code-signed.
This is normal and safe. The software is not malware - Windows blocks all unsigned apps by default.
