The Vulnerability and Attack Injection Tool (VAITP) is an open-source software for scanning, detecting, injecting, and exploiting vulnerabilities in Python scripts, utilizing various types of AI models that have been trained on data reviewed by our website’s community. The VAITP ecosystem consists of:
- VAITP Software – Mainly writen in C++ and Python, VAITP is an open-source software that utilises the developed AI models to detect, inject and exploit vulnerabilities in Python code.
- VAITP Taxonomy – Python-oriented comprehensive taxonomy that allows easy sorting and filtering of vulnerabilities.
- VAITP Token – Digital asset based on blockchain technology that rewards the website’s comunity members for valuable contributions to the dataset’s content.
VAITP is primarily created and developed by:
- Frédéric Bogaerts – PhD student and researcher at Universidade de Coimbra, since September 2022, and an assistant professor at ESTGOH.
Under the guidance and supervision of:
- Dr. Naghmeh Ivaki – Professor at Universidade de Coimbra.
- Dr. José Fonseca – Professor at Instituto Politécnico da Guarda.
Furthermore, the project has contributions from:
- Anush Deokar – B.Tech student at IIT Jodhpur, India.
- Fernando Richter Vidal – PhD student and researcher at Universidade de Coimbra, Portugal.
The primary objective of this project is to utilize AI models to identify vulnerabilities and injection points within a given Python code.
